The Sr. Manager, Knowledge Management is a strategic leadership role within the Enterprise Customer Experience (CX) Program, responsible for transforming Clarios’ Global Knowledge Base (GKB) into an AI-enabled, insight-driven, and value-generating enterprise capability.
This role leads the strategy, governance, adoption, and evolution of the Global Knowledge Base, ensuring knowledge, data, and insights seamlessly connect customers, regions, functions, and technology platforms. The position serves as both a global CX leader and thought partner, driving customer-centric innovation, operational excellence, business growth, and knowledge monetization opportunities across the organization.
By transforming knowledge from a traditional content repository into a scalable enterprise asset, this role directly supports improved customer experiences, faster decision-making, stronger regional execution, and new business value creation opportunities.
What You'll Do (Impact Areas)
Knowledge Management Strategy & Vision
- Own and advance the Global Knowledge Management strategy as a strategic pillar of the Enterprise Customer Experience Program.
- Develop and execute a long-term roadmap that positions knowledge as a competitive differentiator and business enabler.
- Define success measures, operating models, governance frameworks, and value realization plans.
- Transform the GKB into an AI-enabled, insight-driven platform supporting enterprise growth.
Global Knowledge Platform Leadership
- Define and execute the future-state vision for the Global Knowledge Base platform.
- Establish standards for content strategy, knowledge architecture, data governance, lifecycle management, and AI integration.
- Partner with IT, Digital, Product Management, and AI teams to deliver scalable and reliable enterprise solutions.
- Ensure the platform supports customer, commercial, product, and digital business objectives globally.
Customer Experience & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the knowledge ecosystem.
- Engage directly with customers, business leaders, regions, and external partners to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Translate customer insights into scalable knowledge solutions and business improvements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on customer experience and knowledge strategy.
AI, Analytics & Insight Generation
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered capabilities including semantic search, content intelligence, recommendation engines, automation, and predictive insights.
- Improve knowledge discovery, usability, relevance, and decision support for internal and external users.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify customer trends, business opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Advance the use of intelligent technologies that enhance customer engagement and business performance.
Regional Adoption & Value Realization
- Lead global adoption efforts to ensure knowledge capabilities create measurable business value.
- Partner with regional leaders to align knowledge solutions with market-specific priorities and customer needs.
- Balance global consistency with regional flexibility to maximize adoption and business impact.
- Drive awareness and usage through enablement, communications, and stakeholder engagement programs.
Governance & Operational Excellence
- Design and manage the global operating model for knowledge and data management.
- Establish standards for content quality, ownership, access management, usage, and performance monitoring.
- Implement governance structures that drive accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure sustainable and scalable knowledge operations across the enterprise.
Data Products & Knowledge Monetization
- Identify, develop, and scale knowledge-based and data-enabled products.
- Support creation of customer-facing solutions such as decision-support tools, diagnostics, benchmarking platforms, product selectors, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Partner with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and regional teams to develop business cases, pricing models, and growth strategies.
- Convert enterprise knowledge and data assets into revenue-generating opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
- Partner closely with Customer Experience, Commercial, Product, Marketing, IT, Digital, Finance, and regional leadership teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed global organization.
- Align knowledge strategy with customer priorities, digital initiatives, product roadmaps, and operational objectives.
- Remove barriers, establish alignment, and accelerate execution across functions.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, develop, and inspire a globally distributed multidisciplinary team across Mexico, the United States, and Slovakia.
- Foster a culture focused on customer value, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
- Build organizational capabilities that support scalable knowledge operations and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop future leaders within the knowledge management function.
Partner & Vendor Management
- Evaluate and manage strategic service providers and technology partners.
- Ensure third-party solutions and services support enterprise objectives and capability maturity.
- Hold partners accountable for quality, adoption, service levels, and business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across the vendor ecosystem.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Digital Strategy, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Data Management, Digital Platforms, Customer Experience, Product Strategy, Business Transformation, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success creating measurable business value through customer experience, data, insights, digital platforms, knowledge ecosystems, or AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience with analytics, data ecosystems, semantic search, content intelligence, automation, and AI technologies.
- Strong experience partnering with Commercial, Product, Marketing, IT, Digital, Finance, and regional leadership teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive influence skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex, global environments.
- Experience managing and developing geographically distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally as business needs require.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, Information Management, or a related field.

- Experience with customer-facing digital products, product management, or data monetization initiatives.
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or technology-driven organizations.

Work Model & Travel
- Location: Global role, based within the Enterprise Customer Experience organization.
- Work Model: Hybrid.
- Travel: International travel required to support customers, regional teams, strategic initiatives, and business priorities.
