Interested what will be your tasks?
- Perform and oversee month-end closing activities, accruals, account reconciliations, and related accounting tasks for assigned entities.
- Ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Review automated journal entries and system-generated reconciliations to verify their accuracy and completeness.
- Use reporting tools such as Power BI and OneStream to monitor variances, trends, exceptions, and financial movements.
- Provide controllers and other finance stakeholders with clear explanations of financial results and account movements.
- Prepare simplified reports and visual summaries highlighting key financial drivers, exceptions, or anomalies.
- Participate in finance automation initiatives and support the testing of new digital solutions within the GBS Finance organization.
- Use AI-supported tools, such as Microsoft Copilot and other AI assistants, to support analysis, documentation, and reporting activities.
- Validate automated outputs and provide structured feedback during digital pilots and solution testing.
- Contribute to agile team practices, including shared planning, retrospectives, improvement discussions, and rotating team responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce repetitive tasks, and improve the quality and efficiency of finance operations.
- Share accounting knowledge, digital practices, and lessons learned with colleagues.
- Support junior team members with accounting principles, process knowledge, and system usage.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, and applicable governance requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and prepare the required documentation.
- Ensure that automated and system-generated outputs are appropriately reviewed as part of established control procedures.
This role requires to work 25% US Time.
Working patterns for US shift are 13:30 – 22:00 (Mon – Friday)
There are extra benefits for employees covering US time

What kind of energy are we looking for?
- At least five years of professional experience in Accounting, Record-to-Report, or a Shared Services environment.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles.
- Practical experience with SAP; experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of financial reporting tools such as Power BI, OneStream, or comparable solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English at approximately C1 level.
- Strong ownership of assigned processes and deliverables.
- Open and curious approach to new tools, technologies, and agile ways of working.
- Proactive attitude toward process improvement and simplification.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
- Interest in digital finance, automation, and the early application of AI solutions in finance.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Previous involvement in process-improvement or finance-automation projects.
- Exposure to AI-supported tools or digital finance solutions.
- Basic experience with data visualization or financial reporting solutions.
- ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification completed or currently in progress.
The starting salary is at min 2 000 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
This amount is our minimal offered salary. Clarios values each and every candidate and we ensure our compensation package aligns with your professional experience and your expectation.
