What You Will Do
Support manufacturing processes through standardization, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.
Drive efforts to improve product quality, process adherence, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Conduct manufacturing and product quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Manage and maintain process technical specifications for battery production.
Support battery design and process validation builds while executing manufacturing engineering projects on time and within budget.
Develop business cases and supporting documentation for capital and improvement projects.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for manufacturing processes and training.
How You Will Do It
Identify and implement opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, cost, and product quality.
Maintain and update PFMEAs, Control Plans, and other quality documentation within assigned manufacturing areas.
Ensure adherence to manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and engineering standards.
Develop and implement new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing processes to support production objectives.
Utilize analytical tools, modeling techniques, and applicable regulations to evaluate and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and safely repair manufacturing equipment.
Leverage internal and external resources to achieve project goals and maximize throughput and OEE using existing assets.
Maintain equipment calibration records and ensure manufacturing equipment remains in compliance with calibration requirements.
Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational performance.
What We Look For
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience supporting manufacturing, quality, or process improvement initiatives in a production environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Experience conducting manufacturing and quality audits.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Battery manufacturing experience.
Experience with OEE improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
Experience developing new manufacturing equipment and processes.
Knowledge of calibration systems and equipment maintenance processes.
Experience supporting product validation and manufacturing engineering projects.

Our Yuma, Arizona distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We opened in 2006, employ more than 180 people, and operate six days per week.
