Responsibility Level

The position is responsible for China aftermarket product portfolio and associated services throughout external market dynamics and internal Clarios marketing strategy, deeply involved in product portfolio optimization/phase-in & out, anti-fake and market size trend study, to deliver right product to the market on the right time and boost business volume and profit growth.

Typical Duties

  • Lead aftermarket product portfolio analysis through market dynamics, technology trend, market intelligence, competitor study and voice of customer. Develop product plans to address overlaps, gaps, opportunities and ensure alignment to Clarios marketing strategy.
  • Provide new product specific requirements, coordinate cross-function teams focusing on delivering qualified product to the market on time, lead project management according to D3 process, including business alignment, product development, process validation, launch execution and communication.
  • Manage product portfolio and channel metrics to shape different business model customers, conduct product trade off analysis and change management based on market insights, competitive trends and business case.
  • Lead product portfolio dashboard analysis of technology, product lines, product mix, SKUs, identify the learnings of successful and weakness products, work closely with cross-function team to dig out the reason behind and provide product optimization proposals for business alignment and execution.
  • Develop Clarios product value proposition and competitive differentiation to build marketing materials, support product communication to customers and consumers, including E-commerce, branding programs, customer meetings and so on.
  • Develop and update Clarios product and technical training courses, build product and technical digital library, implement trainings to sales team and customers.
  • Handle product related activities, including but not limited to VAVE projects implementation, market anti-counterfeit raids, customer feedbacks, fitment data verification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, or related curriculum.
  • 10 years in portfolio management, product management, product development, sales and/or marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong leadership with ability to achieve results through others and successfully lead major project teams.
  • Excellent critical and strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy into actions and results.
  • Should be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process. Should be highly self-motivated with strong initiative to learn. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Equivalent experience may substitute for requirements.
  • Ability to fluently communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese

Working Conditions

  • Based in Shanghai Head Quarter office with willingness to travel 10% as business request.
