As Plant HR Manager (m/f), you are a strong HR leader who elevates the plant’s HR function to a new strategic and operational level—guiding both the workforce and local leadership safely through challenges and change.

The position will be based at the Clarios plant in Česká Lípa, one of the key European manufacturing centers for automotive batteries.

Key Responsibilities: What you will do

  • Overall responsibility for all HR processes at the site, including temporary labor, recruiting, talent development, employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR administration

  • Leadership and development of an HR team

  • Establishment of a clear HR role as strategic sparring partner for plant and production management

  • Design and implementation of a future-oriented HR agenda in the context of growth, organizational development, and leadership culture

  • Confident and solution-oriented collaboration with the Works Council

  • Overall governance of the payroll agenda

  • Ensuring discipline and managerial accountability within the production environment together with the leadership team

  • Strengthening, refining, and continuously supervising existing compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.

  • Supporting employee engagement, company culture, and internal communication

  • Active involvement in cross-functional, international HR projects (HR digitalization, process efficiency, leadership development)

  • Cooperation with headquarters and HR data reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: What we look for

  • University degree in HR, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Solid years of experience as HR Manager / HR Lead in an industrial production environment, ideally automotive environment

  • Advanced working knowledge of labor law and its practical application.

  • Proven track record in transformation or change processes, ideally involving cultural and/or structural change

  • Experience working with Works Councils and confidence in handling labor law matters

  • Ideally, experience in building or scaling HR structures in growing organizations

  • Fluency in Czech and English language

  • A strong leader with a cooperative mindset, bringing clarity, structure, and energy to the team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness – credible on the shopfloor as well as within the management team

  • Ability to think strategically while reliably managing operational HR processes
