What You Will Do
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production requirements are met, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. This role plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities within the assigned area to achieve operational and business objectives.
How You Will Do It
Lead and train production personnel to perform work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Maintain positive employee relations through coaching, communication, and consistent application of company policies.
Plan staffing requirements and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Monitor production performance, including productivity, scrap reduction, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
Enforce health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety practices, and employee relations.
Preferred
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Continuous improvement experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
