The Role
Support the Regional Tax team in the standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement of tax processes across LATAM. This role contributes to creating a sustainable and controlled tax operating model by documenting existing processes, identifying efficiency opportunities, reducing operational risks, and strengthening the regional internal control framework. The project also ensures knowledge retention and supports the consistent execution of tax obligations across countries.
What You'll Do
- Conduct process mapping and documentation of current tax processes (as-is) across LATAM countries.
- Document direct tax, indirect tax, and tax-related administrative processes.
- Develop process flows, operating procedures, RACI matrices, control narratives, and supporting documentation.
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks within existing tax processes.
- Support the design and implementation of future-state standardized processes (to-be).
- Create operational manuals, flowcharts, checklists, and control guides.
- Organize, maintain, and update the regional digital repository of tax documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, CFS, IT, Customs, and local Tax teams to validate process flows and dependencies.
- Monitor and update documentation due to operational, organizational, or regulatory changes.
- Assist in improving governance practices and strengthening the regional tax control environment.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Active student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Interest in taxation, finance, process improvement, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic international environment.
- Knowledge of process documentation methodologies is a plus.
