The Role 

  • The primary purpose of this role is to ensure mold operability, reduce downtime, and guarantee the quality of the injection molding process through effective maintenance and team supervision. 

What you'll do 

  • Coordinate and manage preventive and corrective maintenance of plastic injection molds. 

  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and availability of molds. 

  • Supervise daily mold maintenance activities to minimize production stoppages. 

  • Enforce compliance with safety and quality standards related to mold operation. 

  • Train, develop, and supervise technical maintenance personnel. 

  • Manage workforce administration activities such as payroll incidences, vacations, and attendance. 

  • Promote operational discipline, motivation, and engagement within the technical team.

  • Well-trained, disciplined, and motivated technical maintenance team.

What you'll bring 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding industries, with a strong focus on mold maintenance. 

  • Proven experience supervising technical maintenance personnel. 

  • Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement. 

Education 

  • Technical High School degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred). 

Technical knowledge & skills 

  • Mold repair, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment. 

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. 

  • Strong understanding of the plastic injection molding process and parameter adjustments. 

  • Operation of workshop machinery such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, and welding equipment (TIG/MIG preferred). 

Additional requirements 

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. 

  • Good organizational and communication skills. 

  • High level of accountability and operational discipline.
