The Role
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting the Maintenance function to ensure compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs, improving equipment availability, reliability, and operational performance. This role contributes to safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations through strong technical execution, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)
Maintenance Execution & Equipment Reliability
- Coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance routines for production equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
- Ensure proper operation, monitoring, and follow-up of maintenance activities.
- Develop, update, and use maintenance plans, manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Planning, Indicators & Performance
- Track and analyze maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and planned maintenance compliance.
- Participate in operational meetings to review equipment performance and define corrective actions.
- Support TPM and HPT initiatives to improve equipment effectiveness and team performance.
Spare Parts, Tools & Resources
- Monitor and control spare parts inventory to ensure availability and accuracy.
- Coordinate tool room and maintenance warehouse operations.
- Keep maintenance lists, routines, and equipment records up to date.
Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (CAS) operational controls and work instructions.
- Apply 5S standards in designated maintenance areas.
- Act promptly in case of environmental incidents and stop activities that pose environmental risks.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions or behaviors and participate in incident investigations.
- Update and maintain Safety Scorecards in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure alignment with ISO 14001 and internal quality systems.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Lead and support HPT teams, ensuring participation, maturity, and effective problem-solving.
- Follow up on HPT scorecards and action plans to eliminate operational obstacles.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and adherence to procedures within the maintenance team.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical-Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Materials Engineering
Experience
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Industrial machines and tools.
Technical Knowledge
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
- Maintenance planning and technical documentation.
- Quality, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
Languages
- English: 60% proficiency.
