What you will do

As an Identity & Access Management Architect, you will be responsible for defining and driving IAM architecture standards across Clarios' global environment. You will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant identity services that support our global operations.

How you will do it

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership for Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, Saviynt, and related IAM technologies.

  • Define and govern enterprise standards for directory services, identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, and authorization.

  • Oversee directory integrations, trust relationships, information exchange interfaces, and identity federation services.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to application development, infrastructure, security, and operational teams on IAM best practices.

  • Participate in and lead architecture reviews, validation activities, and technical evaluations for new initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain identity-related standards, including naming conventions, schema design, and system configuration standards.

  • Manage and facilitate the implementation of Identity Management solutions supporting enterprise and business unit applications.

  • Define Privileged Access Management standards and ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with vendors, managed service providers, and internal stakeholders to support technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop service metrics, monitoring requirements, and reporting mechanisms for IAM services.

  • Ensure third-party solutions comply with enterprise architecture and security standards.

  • Provide accurate project status updates and technical recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends within Identity & Access Management.

What we look for

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions in a large-scale global environment.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Microsoft Active Directory

    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

    • AD LDS

    • LDAP

    • CyberArk

    • Saviynt or other Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions

    • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)

    • SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

    • Directory Federation and Identity Governance frameworks

  • Experience across multiple Identity and Access Management disciplines, including Identity Governance, Directory Services, Authentication, Authorization, and Privileged Access Management.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and influence enterprise-wide technology strategies.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, Microsoft Identity, CyberArk, or similar professional certifications.

  • Experience working within highly regulated and global enterprise environments.

  • Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, governance models, and compliance standards.

The starting salary is at min 3 400 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.

This amount is our minimal offered salary. Clarios values each and every candidate and we ensure our compensation package aligns with your professional experience and your expectation.
