What you will do
Stand up and operationalize the governance, audit, and compliance framework for Clarios Energy Systems product engineering. Ensure all processes, QMS, and compliance requirements are defined, implemented, and auditable. Serve as owner of the Engineering QMS, ensuring alignment with enterprise QMS while maintaining independence from execution activities.
How you will do it:
• Deliver and own the Engineering QMS and its interface with the Enterprise QMS (manufacturing and
product quality), ensuring clear separation of responsibilities
• Achieve and maintain audit/assessment readiness (ASPICE, ISO 15288, QMS)
• Drive continuous improvement and corrective action processes
• Drive engineering compliance governance for suppliers in electronics, software, and safety/security-relevant domains (process-level governance, evidence acceptance, escalation)
• Define and implement the Engineering QMS, audit cadence, and compliance reporting, and coordinate interfaces with the Enterprise QMS
• Operate as an independent assurance function (L1) separate from engineering delivery and project execution
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation and evidence
• Liaise with Quality, PMO, and external assessors to ensure audit readiness
Define and govern supplier process compliance requirements (ASPICE ACQ.4, ISO 26262 Part 8, ISO 21434) in collaboration with Supply Chain and Product Engineering.
• Govern compliance for AI-enabled engineering workflows (ISO/IEC 42001) where applicable.
• Monitor process adherence and drive corrective actions as needed
• Lead & grow team of process owners
What we look for:
• 12+ years in governance, compliance, or quality management in comparable roles in automotive
• Hands-on experience with QMS implementation and audit preparation
• Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 15288, ISO26262, ISO21434, IATF16949 and other relevant standards
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
