Job Responsibilities

  • Vacuum oil from molding machine moats and containers daily, as needed
  • Clean oil-saturated walkways using a floor scrubber to maintain safe working conditions
  • Remove and recycle oil from basement tunnels
  • Clean and maintain oil vacuum carts on a daily basis
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the oil room area
  • Perform general oil cleanup tasks to support plant safety initiatives
  • Change filters in baghouse systems and dispose of them using approved containers
  • Service heat exchange plates for caster and mill tanks
  • Perform quarterly oven preventive maintenance (PM); experience with a combustion analyzer is a plus
  • Replace caster and mill tank pumps as needed
  • Install, de-install, and terminate 480V motors
  • Grease motors and pulleys as part of routine maintenance
  • Replace belts and ensure proper equipment operation
  • Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as needed
  • Use a personal phone for work-related communication and documentation (photo capture)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment (standing, walking, lifting, bending)
  • Ability to wear required PPE
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance standards

Preferred (as applicable)

  • Prior manufacturing, production, or maintenance experience
  • Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts, or scissor lifts
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude
  • HVAC experience (3+ years preferred)
