The Role
As an End User Technologies (EUT) Engineer, you ensure endpoint devices are secure, compliant, up to date, and reliably supported across the global organization. Leveraging deep expertise in MDM, Microsoft endpoint technologies, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, you create strategy, direct management, and optimize a diverse endpoint landscape across Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS — while helping define and improve modern device and mobility management practices.
You act as a Level 3 (L3) support expert / SME, providing advanced technical guidance and escalation support to Level 2 teams and Field IT colleagues across plants and office locations worldwide, and you drive continuous improvement through automation and innovation using tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, and other Azure-based services. Working in an international team environment, you deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric endpoint solutions that support a high-quality digital workplace experience — contributing directly to the stability, security, and continuous improvement of end-user services at Clarios.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)
- Manage & optimize endpoints: manage and optimize endpoints using MDM tools, keeping Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS devices secure, up to date, and compliant with company policies, and guide the operations team members responsible for patching endpoints and delivering updates.
- Provide L3 support: deliver Level 3 technical troubleshooting and escalation support for complex endpoint and mobility issues — minimizing downtime and supporting a high-quality user experience for L2 teams and Field IT worldwide.
- Own the device lifecycle: oversee the full device lifecycle — provisioning, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and decommissioning — for efficient asset management and minimal user disruption.
- Ensure security & compliance: keep endpoints meeting security and compliance requirements (encryption, patching, access controls) in line with IT standards and corporate policies, and partner with the cybersecurity team to align security strategies, support risk mitigation, and continuously improve endpoint security controls.
- Drive automation & improvement: identify and implement automation opportunities (including PowerShell-based solutions) and process improvements that increase service efficiency and improve the end-user experience.
- Set strategy & roadmap (Plan & Build): define the global strategy and future-state vision for endpoint technologies aligned to business objectives, security posture, and growth plans; help develop the multi-year EUT roadmap (technology strategy, lifecycle, security, improvements, access governance); lead the design of scalable, secure, user-centric endpoint solutions; define standards and patterns integrating EUT into user, manufacturing, application, and collaboration platforms; partner with Enterprise Architecture and Security on architectural, security, and regulatory alignment; ensure global scalability with room for regional and plant-specific needs; and define modern OOBE solutions that simplify deployment and reduce user friction.
- Embed security & prepare for transition: embed security and compliance by design — not by exception — across all end-user solutions, and ensure solutions are fully designed, documented, and ready for transition into Run organizations, with design governance, decision frameworks, and success measures for consistent execution.
- Collaborate globally: work with international IT teams to align endpoint management practices, share knowledge, and promote consistency across regions.
