The Role
The Used Battery Collection Executive is part of the Mexico Aftermarket Team and is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and ensuring the successful execution of used battery collection programs across the Retail and Original Equipment Service (OES) channels. This role supports operational continuity, data traceability, service excellence, and compliance with internal processes while contributing to the company’s commercial, financial, and sustainability objectives.
Serving as a key liaison between commercial teams, logistics providers, and support functions, this position plays a critical role in optimizing collection operations, improving performance, and supporting Clarios’ used battery recovery strategy.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)
Collection Program Management
- Coordinate and monitor used battery collection programs for Retail and OES customers.
- Manage collection activities performed through logistics operations and used battery voucher reimbursement programs.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and program requirements.
- Support the execution of recovery initiatives that maximize collection efficiency and coverage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Retail, OES, Customer Service, Transportation, Distribution Center Materials Coordination, and other support teams to ensure smooth program execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact between commercial teams and logistics service providers.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high service levels.
Operational Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to collection volumes, service levels, and operational performance.
- Analyze KPIs, collection trends, service performance, and operational incidents to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Logistics & Supplier Management
- Resolve logistics provider requests related to system issues, collection ticket errors, and operational concerns.
- Coordinate the assignment and reassignment of logistics providers for new or existing locations due to permit expirations, service issues, or changing business requirements.
- Manage supplier-related administrative activities, including invoice processing and payment coordination.
- Generate and manage credit notes as required.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Supervise and support one Call Center Agent responsible for collection request follow-up.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance response times, operational controls, traceability, and customer experience.
- Promote best practices and process optimization across collection programs.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- One year of experience in operations coordination, logistics, customer service, or process management.
- Experience preparing reports and analyzing operational performance metrics.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating or supervising operational or administrative personnel.
Preferred
- Experience in reverse logistics, recycling programs, or collection operations.
- Knowledge of transportation, distribution, or supply chain processes.
- Experience managing suppliers and payment processes.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization initiatives.
Work Model & Travel
- Location: Mexico.
- Work Model: On-site or hybrid, depending on operational requirements.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to distribution centers, service providers, or customer locations.
- Direct Reports: 1 Call Center Agent.
