What You Will Do

  • Support the Demand Planning team in developing and maintaining data-driven forecasts for assigned products, customers, or channels.
  • Analyze historical demand, customer orders, point-of-sale, inventory, and forecast performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Create recurring reports and visualizations that highlight forecast accuracy, forecast attainment, forecast changes, and variance to plan.
  • Assist with demand planning system and master-data activities, including data validation, history reviews, new-product setup, and product transitions.
  • Contribute to process-improvement and automation projects that strengthen demand planning tools, reporting, and standard work.

How You Will Do It

  • Use Excel and business intelligence tools to clean, organize, analyze, and visualize large datasets.
  • Work with demand planners and partners across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Category Management, IT, and other functions to gather inputs and understand business drivers.
  • Compare statistical forecasts with actual demand and business assumptions, document findings, and recommend data-supported adjustments.
  • Monitor data quality and investigate exceptions, inconsistencies, or missing information with strong attention to detail.
  • Communicate progress, assumptions, risks, and conclusions clearly through concise written updates and presentations.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, manage priorities, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute ideas that improve accuracy and efficiency.

What We Look For

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
  • Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week.
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
